Why Choose a Cargo Express Cable Splicer Trailer ?
Overview
The Cargo Express Cable Splicer Trailer is designed for fiber splicing and telecom professionals who value straightforward reliability and smart logistics. Backed by Novae’s national manufacturing footprint, this cable splicing trailer is the practical choice for minimizing freight costs while maximizing field uptime. Built to serve as a mobile, climate-controlled splicing workspace, it combines durable construction with practical features that support everyday field work. With nationwide manufacturing and service support, this fiber splicing trailer offers a dependable solution for both individual crews and fleet operations.
Frame and Construction
Built on Cargo Express’s CXT contractor trailer platform, the Cable Splicer Trailer features a steel tube frame with 16" on-center crossmembers, wall studs, and roof bows for consistent structural strength. Battlecoat® polyurea coating protects exposed steel components, while an automotive asphalt emulsion undercoating shields the chassis from moisture and corrosion. This enclosed cable splicer trailer is designed to hold up to the demands of daily commercial use.
Exterior Features
The exterior is built for durability, security, and weather protection. A seamless aluminum roof and VHB bonded, screwless .030 aluminum exterior help prevent leaks while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. Integrated backup lights, amber strobe lights, and rear loading lights improve visibility on busy jobsites. Standard barlocks on all doors help protect tools and splicing equipment when the trailer is not in use.
Interior Features
Inside, the Cable Splicer Trailer provides a clean, functional workspace for precision fiber optic work. Premium Brawn® Engineered Structural Panels offer moisture resistance and long-term durability, while a 24" stationary mill-finished countertop provides a dedicated splicing surface. Overhead aluminum cabinets with undermounted lighting keep tools accessible and organized. A climate-controlled interior—featuring a 13.5K BTU air conditioner with heat strip and baseboard heater—supports consistent working conditions in any weather.
